The plan does not include a number of items listed as required in the Met Council Local Planning Handbook. Items missing from the plan include: o Map showing the existing and proposed number of lanes on arterial routes o Map showing 2030 traffic volumes on arterial routes o Description of the travel forecasting process o Identification of safety problems and strategies to address those problems o Incorporation of Mn/DOT and Anoka County access guidelines o Map showing trails/bikeways /pathways o Identification of right of way needs for roads, transit and bikeways /pathways o Description of methods that will be used to preserve identified right of way needs, including official mapping. o Map showing existing transit route and park and ride location (Ramsey Star Express) o Identification of the city's existing and future transit market area Thank you again for allowing us the opportunity to comment on the City of Ramsey's Comprehensive Plan.
