<br />Motion by Chairperson Elvig, seconded by Councilmember McGlone, t9 direct staff to prepare a <br />feasibility study for the 2010 Street Maintenance Program consistent with the recommendation <br />of the City Council. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Elvig and CouncilmembersMcGlone and Dehen. <br />Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: <br /> <br />Request Anoka County to have a Speed Study Performed on CR 57 Between <br />Highway 10 and Bunker Lake Boulevard <br /> <br />Assistant City-Engineer Jankowski reviewed the staff report. <br /> <br />Councilmember McGlone stated if the County was not going to open the median, lowering the <br />speed limit would not accomplish anything. <br /> <br />Councilmember. Dehen noted the issue with opening the median was how it would impact a <br />possible "no whistle zone". <br /> <br />Chairperson Elvig stated he liked the idea of having discussions with the County on lowering the <br />speed limit to 35 mph in this area. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember McGlone, seconded by Councilmember Dehen, to recommend staff <br />meet with the County to discuss the whistle zone, medians, and spe.ed limit for the segment of <br />Sunfish Lake Blvd between TH 10 and Bunker Lake Blvd. . <br /> <br />Motion carried.
