<br />EDA BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />APPOINT 2010 EDA OFFICERS <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan stated the EDA Chairperson and Vice- <br />Chairperson/Treasurer terms expired December 31, 2009. The EDA should elect a Chairperson <br />and Vice-Chairperson/Treasurer. <br /> <br />Motion by Member LeTourneau, seconded by Member Skaff, to nominate Chris Riley as EDA <br />Chairperson for 2010. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Members LeTourneau, Skaff, Williams, and Look. Voting No: <br />None. Abstain: Chairperson Riley. Absent: Members Steffen and Elvig. <br /> <br />Motion by Member LeTourneau, seconded by Member Look, to nominate Wayne Skaff as EDA <br />Vice Chairperson/Treasurer for 2010. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Members Riley, LeTourneau, Williams, and Look. Voting No: <br />None. Abstain: Vice Chairperson Skaff. Absent: Members Steffen and Elvig. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />MARQUIS SIGN INFORMATION (PRESENTATION) <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan presented Case #2 and stated that he met with <br />BOB FM regarding the marquis sign. BOB FM expressed interest in managing the sign content. <br />At this time, no pricing or work plan is available, but this information will be brought to the next <br />EDA meeting. <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan introduced John Mylrea of Graybow <br />Communications Group and Roger Brown of Daktronics. Mr. Brown spoke briefly about the <br />digital billboards Daktronics manufactures. LED signs allow for static images or running <br />animation, and prices vary depending of). such factors as, size of sign, vividness of sign, whether <br />the sign is one-sided or two-sided, the level of support required for sign content management, <br />and diagnostic/monitoring support. <br /> <br />After the presentation, discussion continued among the EDA members concerning the decisions <br />that need to be made regarding the sign. Economic Development Coordinator' Sullivan will <br />research options for the base' of the sign, including pricing. Furthermore, he will try to determine <br />what marketing will cost and what it will generate, and he will present those figures at a future <br />meeting. . <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />ADOPT 2010 WORKPLAN <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Sullivan presented a slide-show summary of 20Q9 goals <br />and activities and recapped the 2009 Work Plan.
