Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />CONSIDER A RESOLUTION APPOINTING <br />BOARD AND COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />WHEREAS, there will be three open seats on the City's boards and commissions <br />as of April 1, 2010; and <br />WHEREAS, the vacancies have been advertised in the Ramsey Resident, the <br />Anoka County Union - Shopper, on the City's website and QCTV; and <br />WHEREAS, at its February 25, 2010 interview session, the City Council agreed <br />by consensus to the following appointments: <br />Economic Development Authority <br />• Mr. Jim Steffen: April 1, 2010 —March 31, 2016 <br />Planning Commission <br />• Mr. Gary Van Scoy: April 1, 2010 —March 31, 2014 <br />• Ms. Terri Cleveland: April 1, 2010 —March 31, 2014 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey makes the following appointments: <br />Economic Development Authority <br />• Mr. Jim Steffen: April 1, 2010 —March 31, 2016 <br />Planning Commission <br />• Mr. Gary Van Scoy: April 1, 2010 —March 31, 2014 <br />• Ms. Terri Cleveland: April 1, 2010 —March 31, 2014 <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />
