p~rf TO: Mayor and City Council FROM: City Administrator RE: Staff report on projects that were not completed in 1980 DATE: January 8, 1981 . 1) Finance - The following is hereby submitted on this case for Council information: a) Five (5) Year Capital Improvement Program Budget - This document has been before Council in the rough form. It has to come back to Council for your final approval. We do have to complete this by March 1, 1981, as we will have to submit it with our Comprehensive Plan to the Metro Council. / b) Construction projects to be assessed out in 1981 - These construction projects have to be assessed out this year (1981): " (1) Construction Project #80-15 (2) Construction Project #80-16 (3) Tungsten Street Overlay project . These projects will have to have public hearings set up for them so we can get them assessed out. The Tungsten Street project Council should give some thought as to who all re- ceives an assessment. You have to have a policy of assessing who benefits directly and indirectly. c) 1981 Annual Operation Budget - This budget has been final- ized and now that salaries have been settled we can put it in its final form for printing and binding. 2) Projects - The following is a list of projects which still haven't been completed as of this date: a) Planning Studies The following is a status report on the below listed studies: (1) Comprehensive Plan Study (2) Critical Rivers Study ( 3) Wild and Sceni c Rivers Ordinance The City will be meeting with Jim Barton, Metro Council Staff, Cliff Eichenger, Rivironmental Quality Council Staff and the DNR Staff". The meeting will be with the Mayor, City Admini- strator, City Attorney and City Engineer at 10:30 A.M., Monday, January 26, 1981.
