<br />v?; <br /> <br />TO: Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />FROM: City Administrator <br /> <br />RE: Council New Business <br /> <br />Enclosure (DJ-a) <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />(DJ-b) <br />(DJ-c) <br />(D)-d) <br />(DJ-e) <br />( DJ-f) <br /> <br />Letter from Anoka-Hennepin District #11 regarding recycling <br />project <br />Letter from Gordon Fay, dated December JO, 1980 explaining <br />State Grant Program <br />Letter from Metro Waste Control Commission <br />P~eliminary Report on choosing Sewage Sludge Disposal Site <br />Proposed copy of agreement Anoka County Law Enforcement <br />Joint Powers <br />Copy of Minnesota's Fiscal Disparities Bill <br /> <br />CASE #1: <br /> <br />SCHOOL DISTRICT #11 REGARDING RECYCLING OF WASTE MATERIAL: <br /> <br />Enclosure (D3-a) contains a letter from School District #11 re- <br />questing your support in a recycling project that the school <br />district is proposing for the area. <br /> <br />'. <br /> <br />Comments: I personally think it is a good idea and the <br />communities should give it the support it will need to be a <br />success. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be to give them a letter <br />stating that you are suppo-rting their proposed project as out- <br />lined in the enclosure. <br /> <br />CASE #2: <br /> <br />PARK AND RIDE PROGRAM: <br /> <br />Enclosure (D3-b) contains a letter from Gordon Fay, Minnesota <br />Highway State Engineer, dated December 30, 1980 which explains <br />the State Grant Program for developing park and ride parking <br />lots. <br /> <br />This is a project whereby we may want to go with the City of <br />Anoka on jointly. We should be giving thought to this project <br />in regards to energy and the cost of it. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will be to review it and take <br />action on it if you desire. However, Council should note it in <br />the minutes that you have reviewed it. <br /> <br />~ <br />
