It is also very time consuming to initiate new legislation to change a law. So far the following meetings have taken place: a) Meeting with Jo1m Weaver 7:00 A.M., December 4, 1980, Anoka Ho-liday Inn (Present Thomas Gamec, Arnold Cox and Lloyd Schnelle.) b) Meeting with Governor Quie, 11:30 A.M., December 5, 1980, State Capitol (Present Allen Sorteberg, Arnold Cox, Lloyd Schnelle, John Weaver, John Clawson, Melvin Kaasa Willard Vetter and the Governor's Administrative Assistant.) . c ) Meeting with Mayor Kaasa and Admini strator of Lake Crystal in St. Paul (Mayor Gamec and Lloyd Sc1melle) d) League Finance Meeting in Litchfield 1:00 P.M., December 30, 1980, discussion on merit of Mayor Kaasa proposed State Aid formula by League of City representatives (Mayor Gamec and Lloyd Sc1melle) . e) Meeting with Arnie Carlson State Auditor St. Paul at 1;30 P.M., January 6, 1981 (Present Mayor Gamec, Mayor Kaasa, Allen Sorteberg, Administrator Sutherland, and Lloyd Schnelle) f) Meeting with League Finance St. Cloud 2 :00 P.M. January 9, 1981 (Mayor Gamec, Lloyd Schnelle, Mayor Kaasa, Administrator Sutherland and Mayor Vetter). g) Meeting with State Auditor Arnie Carlson and State Legislators at the Holiday Inn (State Capitol) 7: 30 A.M., January 14, 1981. This will be an important meeting (Mayor Gamec, Arnold Cox, Allen Sorteberg and Lloyd Schnelle will be at this meeting) . We are finding legislators who will talk to us now and are beginning to smell the coffee on how unfair the present local government aid law is that distributes tax dollars. Mayor Gamec wants to discuss or myself, about the City of Ramsey picking up some of the costs that the small Cities of Lake Crystal and Skyline have been picking up in regards to this legislation.
