Council has changed this Commission/Committee considerably last year as you now have it so anyone can be in the Commission/ Committee. However, the Commission/Committee does have a Chairman, Vice Chairman and Secretary and then there are sub committees. Council does not have an ordinance spelling out what the make up will be, etc. for this Commission/Committee. Council has mentioned making some changes to it. Council Action: Your action may be not to take any action in regards to this Commission/Committee. I think all of the Councilmembers except Councilman Reimann and Councilwoman Van Wagner serve on sub committees of the Economic Development Commission. You may want to have an ordinance created to make this a formal Commission/Committee. e) Designation of Official Newspaper for the City of Ramsey: Enclosure (Dl-a) contains a letter containing Anoka Union IS bid to be the official newspaper for the City of Ramsey.
