Funding Source: Funding for the remodel would be funded from the funds left in the Municipal Center Construction Fund, which has a balance of $23,197. Additional funding required could be allocated from the Facilities Construction Fund, which has an approximate balance of $159,000. It should be noted that the CIP has indicated that the following projects be funded from the Facility Fund. These projects are subject to approval from the City Council. The Facility Construction Fund is replenished by annual interest earnings and year -end excess revenue transfers. 2010 — Purchase land for Fire Station #3 $50,000 2011 — Sprinkler system $25,000 2013 — Purchase land for Fire Station #4 $70,000 Recommendation: After bid opening on March 22" at 2PM and Council review of bids received during the March 23` meeting by BKV Group and staff, authorize contract with for the lease space remodel and mid -size conference room build -out in the Ramsey Municipal Center. Establish budget for items outside the scope of the bid to allow for completion of the remodel project (conference room furnishings, signage, entry mat replacement). Council Action: Motion by City Council to adopt resolution 10- 03 -XXX Authorizing a Contract with for the Remodel of Lease Space and Mid -Size Conference Room Build -Out in the Ramsey Municipal Center. Establish budget for items (conference room furnishings, signage, entry mat replacement) outside of the bid scope.
