SECTION 001113 <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />Project: Ramsey Municipal Center Remodel <br />Ramsey, MN. <br />The City of Ramsey solicits sealed bids for the Ramsey Municipal Center Remodel in accordance with bidding <br />documents prepared by BKV Group. Sealed bids will be received for a single prime contract. <br />PROJECT SCOPE <br />Ramsey Municipal Center Remodel: <br />The project is an interior remodel of a portion of one floor of the existing two -story Municipal Center to <br />accommodate lease space for the Anoka County License Center. Project is to be constructed with the owner <br />occupying those portions not being remodeled, including space directly adjacent to the work. Construction will <br />be Type II -B with B and A -3, occupancies. The area being remodeled is approximately 4,000 gross square <br />feet. Work includes but is not limited to: selective demolition, interior construction and finishes, mechanical <br />work, and electrical work. <br />BID DATE / PLACE OF OPENING <br />Sealed bids will be received by the City Clerk of the City of Ramsey on or before March 22, 2010 at 2:00 <br />pm, and will be publicly opened at that time. Sealed bids will be received and opened at the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, MN 55303. The deadline for submission of sealed <br />bids is March 22, 2010 at 2:00 pm. <br />SITE INSPECTION <br />A pre -bid conference and walk through will be March 15, 2010 at 2:00 pm. Meeting location will be in the City <br />of Ramsey council chambers room, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, MN 55303. Attendance at this <br />conference is optional. <br />PROCUREMENT OF DOCUMENTS <br />Copies of Bidding Documents may be obtained from Cadd /Engineerng Supply (CES), 6901 E. Fish Lake <br />Road, Suite 150, Maple Grove, MN 55369, phone (800)831 -8587, or (763) 315 -8711, fax (763) 315 -1383 <br />upon receipt of a check in the amount of Thirty \ dollars ($30.00) made payable to BKV Group. Documents <br />requested to be delivered by mail or UPS will be sent upon receipt of the initial fee and an additional fee of <br />Twenty dollars ($20.00) per plan set payable to BKV Group to cover shipping and handling.
