Commissioner Van Scoy questioned how the applicant was associated with the other business on <br />the parcel. Mr. Anderson stated the other business is an existing tenant, the applicant is in <br />negotiations with the property owner to purchase the parcel and that is why the Conditional Use <br />Permit incorporated both businesses. <br />Mr. Prater stated he thinks his business would be a good addition in the city. <br />Motion by Commissioner Van Scoy, seconded by Commissioner Cleveland, to close the public <br />hearing. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Van Scoy, Cleveland, Hunt, <br />and Rogers. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Brauer and Dunaway. <br />The public hearing closed at 7:20 p.m. <br />Commission Business <br />Motion by Commissioner Van Scoy, seconded by Commissioner Hunt, to recommend that City <br />Council adopt Findings of Fact favorable relating to the Applicants' request for a conditional use <br />permit to allow motor vehicle repairs and motor vehicle sales on the property located at 6845 <br />Highway 10 NW, Eddy's Auto Body and Repair, Inc. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Van Scoy, Hunt, <br />Cleveland, and Rogers. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Brauer and Dunaway. <br />Motion by Commissioner Van Scoy, seconded by Commissioner Cleveland, to recommend that <br />City Council adopt the resolution approving the Applicant's request for a Conditional Use Permit <br />to Eddy's Auto Body and Repair, Inc. to allow for motor vehicle repair and sales in the H -1 <br />Highway 10 Business District based on the findings of fact, and declaring terms of the same. <br />Motion Carried.
