CONSIDER RESOLUTION ADOPTING GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES FOR <br />WEB -BASED SOCIAL MEDIA <br />By: Jessica L. Hendricks, Management Intern <br />Background: <br />Case # II <br />The City of Ramsey has chosen to create a web -based social media page on Facebook. The <br />League of Minnesota Cities recommends cities that choose to utilize web -based social media <br />implement policies to govern it. <br />Staff has created a policy with input from the League of Minnesota Cities sample policy, as well <br />as other cities' existing policies.
