Case #2: <br />Background: <br />Case #3: <br />Background: <br />Discuss Concerns Regarding Access to 16261 St. Francis Boulevard Access <br />Staff received an email from a resident concerned about the safety of the access for the property <br />located at 16261 St. Francis Blvd. <br />Staff recommends that this issue by monitored closely and resolved with a future development <br />scenario that may occur in this area. Staff is also recommending that this issue be reported to <br />MnDOT as a concern to see what option they might propose as a solution along their trunk <br />highway system. <br />Motion to recommend that the City Council authorize staff to check with MnDOT to see if <br />signage could be put in and to keep the opportunities open. <br />Action: <br />Ratify the recommendation of the Public Works Committee. <br />Discuss Installation of Turn Lanes Along CSAH 5 <br />Staff has been asked to investigate the potential to construct right turn lanes at intersection along <br />the corridor of CSAH 5 from Alpine Drive to the Lord of Life Church. <br />The Committee discussed the pros and cons of installing the turn lanes. It was the consensus of <br />the Committee to look at different options. <br />Staff would talk to the County and school and come back to the Committee in the future. <br />Action: <br />Ratify the recommendation of the Public Works Committee. <br />COMMITTEE INPUT <br />There was none <br />Reviewed by: <br />City Administrator: <br />Public Works Director /Principal City Engineer <br />City Engineer <br />CC: 04/13/10 <br />
