LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MA14 RGANIZATION <br />OCTOBER 19, 1988 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Schrantz called the meeting to order at 9:50 a.m. in the <br />Committee Room of Anoka City Hall following an 8 :00 a.m. on -site inspec- <br />tion of erosion concerns at the homes of Lyle Bradley, 15202 7th Ave. N.W., <br />Andover; and Elaine Bartolain, 3544 Rum River Dr., Anoka. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Members present included Chairman Jim Schrantz, Pete Raatikka, and <br />John Weaver. Tom Mathisen was present at'the on -site inspection, but <br />was unable to remain for the regular meeting. Guests in attendance were <br />Curt Pearson, WMO Attorney; Morrie Anderson, Anoka Golf Superintendent; <br />and Dean Skallman, Barr Engineering Consultant, who was also present at <br />the on -site inspection. <br />SEPTEMBER MINUTES <br />Motion was made by Mr. Raatikka, seconded by Mr. Weaver, that the <br />meeting minutes of September 21 1988, be approved as printed. All voted <br />yes. Motion carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />None. <br />PAYMENT OF BILLS <br />None. <br />REPORT OF OFFICERS <br />None. <br />CONSIDERATION OF COMMUNICATIONS <br />Dean Skallman presented DNR received permits: <br />#89 -6080 City of Ramsey, Stormwater outfall. Permit approved by DNR <br />subject to itemized provisions. File only. <br />#89 -6145 City of Anoka. Fill a portion of wetland area and excavate <br />to enlarge other area to redesign golf course fairways and <br />install driving range. <br />Upon discussion of permit reviews, Mr. Skallman reported that although <br />DNR Area Hydrologist John Stine requested the receipt of some comment on <br />
