LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT COMMISSION <br />SEPTEMBER 23, 1987 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Jim Schrantz called the meeting to order at 8;35 a.m. in <br />the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Members present included Chairman Jim Schrantz, John Weaver, Tom <br />Mathisen, and Pete Raatikka (9;00 a.m.). Others in attendance included <br />Engineering Consultant Dean Skallman, City of Anoka Finance Director <br />Frank Frederick, Alternate and Acting Public Works Director for the City <br />of Anoka Ray Schultz, and Curtis A. Pearson, Attorney. <br />AUGUST MINUTES <br />Motion was made by Mr. Mathisen, seconded by Mr. Weaver, that the <br />August 19, 1987, meeting minutes be approved as printed. All voted yes. <br />Motion carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Mr. Mathisen presented the Treasurer's Report for the period ending <br />August 31, 1987, showing a balance of $24,379.41. <br />Motion was made by Mr. Weaver, seconded by Mr. Mathisen, that the <br />Treasurer's Report be approved as submitted. All voted yes. Motion carried. <br />PAYMENT OF BILLS <br />Mr. Frederick presented a bill for secretarial services through the <br />end of August in the amount of $71.90. Also presented were two bills from <br />Barr Engineering: Meeting attendance and preparation in the amount of <br />$134.40 and one for $1,696.60 for a portion of the Lower Rum River Water <br />Management Plan. <br />Motion was made by Mr. Mathisen, seconded by Mr. Weaver, to approve <br />payment of the bills as presented. All voted yes. Motion carried. <br />REPORT OF OFFICERS <br />None. <br />CONSIDERATION OF C01414UNICATIONS <br />The commission reviewed permit #88 -6079. The applicant is requesting <br />permission to excavate, creating open water at 17657 Round Lake Blvd., <br />Andover, placing the fill on the adjoining land. <br />
