LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />FEBRUARY 15, 1989 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Jim Schrantz called the meeting to order at <br />8:50 a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Members _resent included Chairman Jim Schrantz, Pete <br />Raatikka, Tom I.athisen, and John Weaver. <br />JANUARY MINUTES <br />A motion was made by Raatikka, seconded by Mathisen, <br />that the January 18, 1989, meeting minutes be approved as <br />printed. All voted yes. Motion carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Mathisen presented the Treasurer's Reports for the <br />periods ending Dec. 31, 1988, and Jan. 31, 1989, showing <br />respective balances of $20,612.78 and $18,276.75. The Jan. <br />31, 1989, report was the final report for Fiscal Year 1988. <br />Mathisen repe_ted that the Management Flan budget contains <br />$1,000.00 still due Barr Engineering who has not contacted <br />this WMO with their conclusions on tree 'final billing for <br />preparation of the Water Management Plan. <br />The Fiscal Year 19 %9 budget was discussed. Members <br />concurred that the .^.resent budget as already established <br />should remain as is and be reviewed again_ in June 1989. <br />Should expenditures not increase as anticipated through <br />permit review and resulting engineering costs, the possibil- <br />ity exists that member city levies may be reduced for the <br />following year. <br />The commission_ commended Treasurer Torn Mathisen for his <br />excellent jao in fiscal management. <br />A motion. ..:as mane by T:jr.
