ti LOWER RUM RIVER WATER MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION JANUARY 18, 1989 CALL TO ORDER Vice - Chairman Pete Raatikka called the meeting to order at 8:35 a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. ROLL CALL Members present included Vice - Chairman Pete Raatikka, Tom Mathisen, and John Weaver. Chairman Jim Schrantz arrived immediately following the consideration of the December minutes. Guests in attendance were Jon Christensen and Curtis Pearson. DECEMBER MINUTES Raatikka requested that the December 21, 1988, minutes be amended to reflect that during discussion of the proposed Rum River Erosion Control Ordinance, that the City of Ramsey had held a public hearing regarding the ordinance on December 13, 1989, but a copy of those meeting minutes were at that time not available. Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Mathisen, to approve the December 21, 1988, meeting minutes as amended. All voted yes. Motion carried. TREASURER'S REPORT Mathisen reported that he was not able to obtain the required in- formation from the City of Anoka Finance Director; therefore, no Treasurer's Report was available. Proper information will be obtained and available at the regular February WMO meeting. PAYMENT OF BILLS Mathisen reported receiving a bill from the WMO legal counsel, Curtis Pearson, for professional services rendered from January 1, 1988, through December 31, 1988, bill for 21.25 hours at the rate of $90.00 per hour, for a total of $1,912.50. Raatikka requested that Mr. Pearson specify the actual amount of time spent per charge. Pearson agreed to do so. Motion was made by Mr. Raatikka, seconded by Mr. Weaver, to approve payment of the $1,912.50 bill from Curt Pearson. All voted yes. Motion carried. Mathisen was also in receipt of a bill from Barr Engineering in the amount of $47.00 for the review of DNR permit applications and administra- tive services during the period of October 30, 1988, through December 3, 1988.
