Exhibit B is the official maximum levy amount based on payable 1990 data. This information was recently prepared by the Department of Revenue and replaces earlier versions. Exhibit C is a county listing of eligibility based on the status of approved comprehensive local water plans. Columns marked "possibly eligible" and "not eligible" are best estimates based on our projections of local water planning schedules. Given the increasing activity in local water planning and the near completion of many plans, we expect many additional counties to be eligible next year. We urge counties considering the levy -even tentatively- to indicate the special levy for water plan implementation as a proposed levy. If you later decide to implement this special levy but it was not listed as a proposed levy, this special levy cannot be implemented. Conversely, if the levy is listed as a proposed levy and you later decide to not implement it, the levy can be omitted from the final certification.
