e <br />LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />MAY 16, 1990 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Jim Schrantz called the meeting to order at 8:40 <br />a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Members present were Jim Schrantz, Tom Mathisen, Pete <br />Raatikka, and John Weaver. <br />Consulting Engineer Dean Skallman and Coon Rapids Civil <br />Engineer Scott Erickson was also present. <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br />Motion was made by Mathisen, seconded by Weaver, to APPROVE <br />THE APRIL 18, 1990, MEETING MINUTES AS PRINTED. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Mathisen presented the Treasurer's Report for balance p eri od <br />ending April 30, 1990, showing an ending <br />$14,176.03. <br />When reporting the month's activities, Mathisen noted the <br />$7.74 bank service charge. Deputy Treasurer Jim Knutson will <br />contact.the bank in an attempt to eliminate future service <br />charges. <br />Mathisen'.further reported Knutson found what may be an error <br />in 1988 _funding of the LRRWMO by the City of Anoka. At one <br />point it was felt Anoka paid more than their half -year <br />assessment; therefore, it was refunded. However, A no s <br />looks as if a half -year payment from the City <br />missing. If this is the case, the LRRWMO budget could be <br />increased by approximately $1,000. Mathisen and Knutson will <br />investigate this matter further and report back at the June <br />1990 regular meeting. <br />The audit will not be completed until this City of Anoka <br />half -year payment issue is settled. <br />Schrantz referred to a May 9, 1990, letter from Attorney <br />Curtis Pearson t0 Fields, Hokanson & Co., Ltd., Minneapolis, <br />
