LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />APRIL 18, 1990 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Jim Schrantz called the meeting to order at 8:37 <br />a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Members present were Jim Schrantz, Tom Mathisen, Pete <br />Raatikka, and John Weaver. <br />Also present were Engineering Consultant Dean Skallman and <br />Coon Rapids Civil Engineer Scott Erickson. <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br />Motion was made by Raatikka, seconded by Weaver, to APPROVE <br />THE SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES OF FEBRUARY 28 AND REGULAR <br />MEETING MINUTES OF MARCH 21, 1990, AS PRINTED. <br />3 ayes - 0 nayes - 1 present (Schrantz). Motion carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Mathisen presented the Treasurer's Report for the period <br />ending March 31, 1990, showing an ending balance of <br />$15,486.03. <br />Raatikka stated this board should consider increasing the <br />LRRWMO budget to $10,000 through assessments to member cities <br />during the June 1990 meeting when valuations are available <br />from Anoka County. Weaver concurred adding that out of <br />necessity, this board will be requiring a larger contribution <br />from the member cities, beginning with the 1991 year, as <br />evidenced by the deficit we have now covered with our <br />surplus. <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Raatikka, to APPROVE <br />THE MARCH 31, 1990, TREASURER'S REPORT AS PRESENTED. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />Members also received financial spread sheets showing activ- <br />ities for fiscal year 1989 and fiscal year 1990 through March <br />31, 1990. <br />
