SPECIAL MEETING <br />LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 1990, AT 9:20 P.M. <br />COMMITTEE ROOM OF ANOKA CITY HALL <br />Chairman Schrantz called the special meeting of the Lower Rum <br />River Watershed Management Organization to order at 9:20 p.m. <br />Members present were Jim Schrantz, Tom Mathisen, Pete <br />Raatikka, and John Weaver. Attorney Curt Pearson was also <br />present. <br />The purpose of the meeting was to discuss how to respond to <br />Senator Gregory Dahl's bill to the State Legislature which <br />came about when the Report of the Metropolitan Local Water <br />Management Task Force was completed and sent to the Governor <br />and State Legislature. Members felt several changes would be <br />in order. Pearson recommended the board members simply sit <br />down with the Senator and discuss the issues with him without <br />taking formal action. <br />LRRWMO members agreed to meet at Frisky's Restaurant, Wed- <br />nesday, February 28, 1990, at 7:30 a.m. to discuss and <br />formulate their position prior to meeting with Senator Dahl. <br />There being no further discussion, Schrantz declared the <br />meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Mava Mikkonen <br />Recording Secretary <br />
