w `J <br />LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />NOVEMBER 20, 1991 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Jim Schrantz called the meeting to order at 8:40 <br />a.m, in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Members present were Jim Schrantz, Scott Erickson (8:50 <br />a.m.), Steve Jankowski, and John Weaver. <br />Also present was Anoka alternate Ray Schultz. <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Jankowski, to APPROVE <br />THE OCTOBER 16, 1991, MEETING MINUTES AS PRINTED. <br />3 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />PAYMENT OF BILLS <br />Schrantz presented an insurance premium invoice, dated <br />October 30, 1991, fran the League of Minnesota Cities <br />Insurance Trust, Berkley Risk Services, Inc., for a premium <br />due of $672.00 for liability, automobile, and errors and <br />omissions insurance coverage. <br />(Erickson arrived at 8:50 a.m.) <br />Schultz noted an October 22, 1991, letter from Peter Tritz, <br />Executive Director, League of Minnesota Cities, addressing <br />the possibility of the LRRWMO obtaining umbrella coverage, at <br />a given premium, through his agency. Schrantz stated he has <br />been advised the LRRWMO would be better off staying with the <br />$600,000 statutory liability limit coverage. Schrantz also <br />noted, from a November 7, 1991, letter from Conway Olson, <br />Vice President of T. C. Field and Company, the LRRWMO is <br />being offered a $1 million excess liability Without Waiver of <br />Immunity insurance quotation at a premium cost of $1,000. <br />Following a telephone call to Mr. Olson, the board was <br />informed the $672.00 premium was due immediately for coverage <br />through January 31, 1992. <br />
