LRRWMO Meeting Minutes <br />October 16, 1991 <br />Page 10 <br />Permit Program. Jankowski summarized the activity of <br />Northern States Power Company's dumping wastewater into the <br />Mississippi as occurring during the construction period for <br />the pipeline itself. He felt this activity would not have a <br />significant impact on our waters. <br />MPCA Clean Water Partner Grant <br />Members briefly considered the application information for an <br />MPCA Clean Water Partnership Grant. While such a grant might <br />provide funds for lake monitoring programs, etc., it was <br />reported information received from Pat Rudolph, Anoka County <br />Soil and Water Conservation District, determined that such <br />grant applications are extremely time consuming and require <br />a fifty /fifty match, with seventy -five per cent of our match <br />being in cash. Members concurred this type of grant and its <br />requirements do not fit the LRRWMO profile and budget. <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Jankowski, to FILE <br />THIS APPLICATION INFORMATION FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />Water Quality Records /Maintenance <br />Members <br />recalled previous discussions on water <br />determined that <br />quality <br />whatever <br />records <br />and maintenance which <br />Engineering maintained relating to <br />LRRWMO <br />records <br />issues, <br />Barr <br />especially relating to water quality, <br />should be <br />agreed to <br />duplicated for the LRRWMO central files. Jankowski <br />discuss the matter with him. <br />An update <br />contact <br />will be <br />Skallman and <br />provided at the November meeting. <br />Discuss <br />Wetland Acts <br />Members <br />concurred this agenda item shall be carried over to <br />the November regular meeting. <br />Newsletter <br />The development of a newsletter will be further discussed at <br />the November regular meeting. <br />
