LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />AUGUST 28, 1991 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Jim Schrantz called the meeting to order at 8:40 <br />a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Members present were Jim Schrantz, Scott Erickson, Steve <br />Jankowski, and John Weaver. <br />Also present was Anoka alternate Ray Schultz. <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br />P4otion was made by Weaver, seconded by Jankowski, to APPROVE <br />THE JULY 17, 1991, MEETING MINUTES AS PRINTED. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Erickson presented the Treasurer's Report for the period <br />ending July 31, 1991, which indicated a money market checking <br />account balance of $10.00; an interest bearing savings <br />account balance of $4,857.04; and a certificate of deposit <br />account balance of $6,000.00. Total balance as of July 31, <br />1991, was $10,867.04. <br />Erickson reported the receipt of the second half membership <br />dues from the cities of Andover, Ramsey, and double payments <br />from Coon Rapids. He will see they are refunded $42.00. The <br />City of Anoka has not yet paid its second half membership <br />dues. <br />Erickson noted the April 28 through June 1, 1991, bill from <br />Barr Engineering in the amount of $1,690.60, which was sent <br />back with a request for further detail on meetings and <br />administration, has not yet come back for payment. <br />Jankowski queried what will be done with the $10,000 LRRWMO <br />holds in reserve, indicating he has been asked this from <br />Ramsey's Finance Director. Erickson indicated we will spend <br />$5,000 on expenses yet this year and carry over $3,500 next <br />year, leaving only $2,000 in the books, which is not much <br />cushion. <br />
