LRRWMO Meeting Minutes <br />July 17, 1991 <br />Page 4 <br />Motion was made by Erickson, reluctantly seconded by Weaver, <br />that THE $3,000.00 BUDGETED FOR INSURANCE SHALL COME OUT OF <br />THE 1991 CARRY OVER FUNDS. THEREFORE, THE 1992 BUDGETED <br />AMOUNT SHALL REFLECT A GRAND TOTAL OF $14,600.00. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />The Recording Secretary presented a resolution for considera- <br />tion which designates the official depository and signees. <br />Motion was made by Erickson, seconded by Weaver, to ADOPT <br />RESOLUTION NUMBER 91 -1, DESIGNATION OF OFFICIAL DEPOSITORIES <br />AND SIGNEES DESIGNATING THE NORTHERN BANK AS THE OFFICIAL <br />DEPOSITORY FOR THE LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT <br />ORGANIZATION. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes. <br />REPORT OF OFFICERS <br />Motion carried. <br />None. <br />CONSIDERATION OF COMMUNICATIONS <br />Schrantz noted the July 16, 1991, facsimile he received from <br />Consulting Engineer Dean Skallman addressing a recently <br />received public ditch inventory survey and his recommendation <br />thereof. Members concurred the board will work on this issue <br />further. <br />Schrantz noted an article in the League of Minnesota Cities <br />Bulletin entitled Environment, Local Government Appeals to <br />BOWSR . <br />The Recording Secretary raised several in -house issues to be <br />addressed: <br />-- The LRRWMO files show no alternate designated for the City <br />of Coon Rapids; <br />-- Files show no resolution received for either a voting <br />member or alternate from the City of Andover; <br />-- Upon review of the by -laws, it has been found packets can <br />be mailed out as late as four days prior to the meetings, <br />which may allow for additional information to be included. <br />Members concurred they prefer the current system of mailing <br />packets out ten days prior to the meeting dates. <br />
