LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />JANUARY 23, 1991 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Jim Schrantz called the meeting to order at 8:35 <br />a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Members present were Jim Schrantz, Scott Erickson, and John <br />Weaver. Pete Raatikka was absent. <br />Also present were Ray Schultz and Dean Skallman. <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Erickson, to APPROVE <br />THE DECEMBER 19, 1990, MEETING MINUTES AS PRINTED. <br />3 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Erickson presented the Treasurer's Report for the period <br />ending December 31, 1990, which indicated a money market <br />checking account balance of $10.00, interest bearing savings <br />account balance of $3,653.85, and a certificate of deposit <br />account balance of $8,000.00, for a current total balance of <br />$11,663.85. <br />Erickson reported the City of Ramsey has paid their second <br />half 1990 membership dues in the amount of $2,691.00. He <br />will soon be sending out first half 1991 membership due <br />requests to member cities. <br />Erickson stated Deputy Treasurer Jim Knutson has not yet done <br />anything with the certificate of deposit interest of $143.61 <br />but plans to roll it over. <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Schrantz, to AUTHORIZE <br />THE DEPUTY TREASURER TO REINVEST THE CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSIT <br />AT THE CURRENT INTEREST RATE FOR A TERM NOT TO EXCEED SIX <br />MONTHS. <br />3 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />
