LRRWMO Meeting Minutes <br />January 15, 1992 <br />Page 8 <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Outfall on Mississippi River /Waste Management <br />Jankowski reported on the Waste Management project outfall <br />area on the Mississippi River, indicating there is open water <br />on the Mississippi River at the point of outfall. However, <br />the whole river is open. As a reminder, the board, Schultz <br />specifically, had previously expressed concern for winter <br />sports advocates who would use the frozen river for <br />snowmobiling, etc. He feared perhaps this continuous outfall <br />from the Waste Management project would create a safety <br />hazard. Jankowski had nothing to further to conclude at this <br />point. <br />Schrantz requested the next LRRWMO meeting be rescheduled <br />fran the third Wednesday in February due to his planned <br />vacation. All present concurred the next meeting shall be <br />scheduled for February 12, 1992. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion was made by Jankowski, seconded by Erickson, to <br />ADJOURN THE MEETING. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes.
