SPECIAL MEETING OF THE <br />LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />OCTOBER 1, 1992 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Jim Schrantz called the meeting to order at 7:30 <br />a.m, in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Members present were Jim Schrantz, Scott Erickson, and Steve <br />Jankowski. John Weaver was absent. <br />Also present were <br />Anoka County Soil <br />Caine, surveyor. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />on or a <br />Anoka alternate Ray Schultz; Chris Lord, <br />and Water Conservation District; and Jeff <br />acement o rder for 3 <br />feet of <br />Jankowski provided background information on this Ramsey <br />Meadows Subdivision. Ramsey is currently working on <br />delineating Sunny Pond so they can get to the restoration <br />order for this Ramsey Meadows Subdivision, which is another <br />five lot subdivision immediately adjacent to Sunny Pond. <br />Jankowski stated at the time of the pr on us meeting, t <br />had been no grading d one <br />subdivision. On Sunny Pond, the developer hired John <br />Anderson, Wetland Data, to delineate th�hewe Mr. <br />of the <br />Anderson reportedly placed flags along <br />wetland he had delineated. Nothing was done adjacent to the <br />area delineated. Jeff Caine, surveyor, tied those flags into <br />the exhibit of the area presented to the board today. <br />The replacement order being proposed for this subdivi of <br />an acre for acre replacement. Approximately 3,000 <br />wetland is proposed to be filled. The area adjacent is <br />proposed for 3,000 square feet of mitigation. Jankowski <br />stated the restoration order specifies the process to be <br />followed in conducting the activity. As per the order, we <br />are asking for the soil ofvegetationawithtsaid materialo bo <br />first stripped of top p <br />be stored in an upland area.
