Mr. Lazan noted the longer the Commission waited, the less parcels there were to spread the
costs over. He asked if staff should proceed looking at the options as to how to spread the costs,
or should staff hold off on this.
Chairperson Ramsey believed they needed to add the costs into Town Center.
Commissioner Elvig stated this had to go hand-in-hand with what the market would bear and he
did not believe there was anyway to build this budget right now.
City Administrator Ulrich asked if the HRA wanted a more detailed discussion in the future
regarding these proposed Districts. He asked if there was. enough interest to entertain an option
like this.
Senator Mike Jungbauer noted this City's issues were not unique. He asked if the City had
thought about hosting the Senate or the Senate Transportation Committee to have a public
discussion and obtain some ideas on how to get funding for not only the City, but the entire
State. He indicated he would be willing to work with the City in facilitating such a discussion.
The Commission's consensus was to have a further discussion regarding Districts.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
None.'
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S REPORT
None.
COMMISSIONER INPUT
None.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Commissioner Elvig, seconded by Commissioner McGlone, to close the regular
meeting of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority.
Motion carried.
