~!,- <br />r ~` 2-23-2010 <br />To: City of Ramsey,MN <br />From: Midwest Electrical Technologies <br />Subject: Submittal of services for Electrical Inspections <br />~- <br />__ `! ~ i~ ~~ ~ f YZ~n <br />~, <br />-~- / <br />Services would be provided daily Monday and 'Thursday, except agreed upon holidays <br />if inspector takes vacation he would provide qualified persons to accomplish inspections <br />while gone. All expenses to perform inspections such as travel, phone, insurance and all <br />other expenses would be placed upon said inspector from the percentage of fees agreed <br />upon between inspector and the City of Ramsey. Calls would be taken by the inspector at <br />an assigned phone number between the hours of 07:00 am and 08:30 am Monday thru <br />Friday only. Inspections would be completed within the next 48 working hours, <br />weekends and holidays excluded. All contractors or home owners would be notified the <br />same day if the inspection did not pass and for what reasons said inspection did not pass. <br />At that time, a 14 day window for corrections for reinspection would be assigned. Also a <br />reinspection fee would apply for all subsequent reinspections if necessary, for any and all <br />corrections. <br />Suggested fee schedule can be found on attached sheet. A percentage of 75% of the <br />fee goes to the inspector and 25% to the City of Ramsey. A suggested $10.00 <br />administrative fee and .50 surcharge to the State of Minnesota should be added. Permits <br />are to be kept by the City of Ramsey after completion of the final inspection. The <br />inspector can maintain a complete set of records and history of all inspections completed. <br />The records will be in the form of hard copy paper records, and a computer copy for easy <br />answers to questions about the history of inspections for current or future owners, which <br />is accessible upon request from the city. Permits would be valid for project on permit and <br />when finaled any future work requires new permit. The would be open for eighteen <br />months at which time permit would be expired and a new permit would be required to <br />complete project. <br />References will be made available upon request. <br />Midwest Electrical Technologies <br />
