Topsoil salvaged from the existing ditch area would be used to restore ditches. <br />Disturbed areas outside the roadway would be reseeded and provided with adequate erosion <br />control until turf is reestablished. ~ <br /> <br />Following construction, an application of calcium ch_lodde for dirt control would be applied <br />annually in the spring or early summer. The roads would be regraded approximately monthly <br />between April and October. After five years, tow additional inches of Class 5 would be added to <br />the roadway. <br /> <br />Proposed Improvements - Alternative B- Paved Surfacing <br /> <br />Similar improvements to those described in Alternative A above would be made to improve the <br />drainage. In addition to the four inches of Class 5 the road would be surfaced with two-inches of <br />bituminous wear coursed as illdstrated in Figure B. Since portions of-t_his roadway are quite low, <br />particularly the intersection of 1.64th Avenue and Sapphire Street. Soil boring should be made <br />and it is anticipated that some geo, textil¢ reinforcement of the sub base maY be required in the <br />area of'Sapphire and I64th Lane..
