Case #5: Update of IP 09-24 Dysprosium Street Feasibility Study
Background:
This case was presented at the Apri127, 2010 City Council meeting for ratification.
Staff proposed that the property owners be contacted and that both neighbors had to agree to
separate the driveways and the additional cost.
It was the Committee's consensus to agree with the policy and to recommend that the City
Council approve the feasibility study dated April 2010.
Action:
Ratify the recommendation of the Public Works Committee.
Case #6: Consider Overnight Parking in Parking Ramp Policy
Background:
Staff reviewed that the Police Department has received requests to allow overnight parking in the
RTC parking ramp.
It was the Committee's consensus to not prepare a formal policy at this time, but to let the Police
Department determine where the best spot was for the parking and monitor the requests, that 48
hours was a reasonable time for not having a permit, to put an article in the newsletter, and to
remove the overnight parking sign (if there was one) and replace it with a new sign.
Action:
Ratify the recommendation of the Public Works Committee.
COMMITTEE INPUT
There was none
Reviewed by: _
~.~ City Administrator:~~ ~^
Public Works Director/Principal City Engineer
City Engineer
CC: OS/11/10
