LRRWMO Meeting Minutes <br />April 15, 1993 <br />Page 3 <br />indicated he would contact Barr Engineering to find out how <br />much it would cost to have that firm complete the LRRWMO <br />annual report as required by BWSR. <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Schrantz, to AUTHORIZE <br />HIRING THE LRRWMO CONSULTING ENGINEERING FIRM TO COMPLETE THE <br />BWSR REQUIRED ANNUAL REPORT AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED $300.00. <br />3 ayes - nayes. Motion carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Knutson presented the March Treasurer's Report indicating a <br />cash balance of $19,316.04. Three of the four member cities <br />have paid their first half year assessment dues; Ramsey's <br />contribution is still outstanding. A second request has been <br />sent. Knutson also stated he anticipates taking the $12,000 <br />certificate of deposit, due to mature on April 23, 1993, and <br />rolling it over to a six month certificate of deposit. He <br />does not anticipate needing that money within the six month <br />period. <br />The summary of monthly financial activity was discussed. The <br />only activity for the month was the insurance payment of <br />$2,296.00 for fiscal year 1993. The account balances as of <br />March 31, 1993, were: checking account, $10.00; interest <br />bearing savings account, $2,306.04, less the permit account <br />balance of $1,906.06, fora total available savings account <br />balance of $399.98; and a certificate of deposit total <br />balance of $17,000; for a total current balance of <br />$19,316.04. <br />Motion was made by Jankowski, seconded by Weaver, to ACCEPT <br />THE TREASURER'S REPORT AS PRESENTED. <br />3 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />PAYMENT OF BILLS <br />Rnutson presented the bills received for payment: <br />-- Quad Cities Cable Communications Commission (QCCCC), <br />$15.00, for the reproduction of one video tape, "Living With <br />Water", for the City of Coon Rapids. It was explained the <br />other member cities. also obtained a copy of this tape for <br />their video libraries; however, the other three are members <br />of the QCCCC and were able to take advantage of the tapes <br />provided each of those member cities as part of an annual <br />provision through the QCCCC. Mikkonen reported Chair <br />Schrantz was contacted about how he preferred to handle this <br />matter. She was informed the LRRWMO should be billed for the <br />
