This agenda item will be carried over
to the May 1993 agenda.
Mineral Pond Sixth Addition
Schultz recommended this agenda item be tabled; no activity.
The board concurred. It will be placed on the May agenda.
Ramsey Commons Second Addition
Jankowski indicated a revised drainage plan was sent to the
LRRWMO Consulting Engineer for his review. He recalled at
the March 18, 1993, LRRWMO meeting whereby the board approved
the permit for Ramsey Commons Second Addition contingent upon
resubmittal of the updated plans to Barr Engineering for
review and approval with favorable findings. Consultant
Engineer Bob Beduhn's March 31, 1993, second project review
and recommendation to the board was noted: "As indicated in
Mr. Jankowski's letter and LRRWMO meeting minutes, the
basement slab elevation issue has been addressed. Therefore,
2 recommend to the board that the development plan for RAMSEY
COMMONS 2ND ADDITION be given final approval subject to the
items discussed above.". Jankowski indicated the developer
did incorporate additional requirements, such as adding rip
rap.
Amber Ridge
Jankowski presented plans for a 123 lot private development
subdivision called Amber Ridge. He explained this develop-
ment is located immediately adjacent to Rivers Bend. It also
involves a fairly involved drainage plan. Jankowski noted it
will receive sedimentation prior to discharge into the Rum
River. Any overflow from sedimentation will go into the
existing storm sewer which will drain into a non-DNR
protected wetland within the Rivers Bend development. The
outlet from that will go directly into the Rum River.
Jankowski went on to identify the other drainage areas.
Jankowski stated there is a small portion of this subdivision
that does have direct discharge into the storm sewer and into
the Rum River; about 200-300 feet of lots. He noted that the
existing 149th street presently runs to a catch basin that
now goes to the Rum River. The developer proposes to elimi-
nate that catch basin and have it run, eventually, into a
