LRRWMO Meeting Minutes <br />February 18, 1993 <br />Page 7 <br />PENDING PROJECTS/PERMIT REVIEWS (Continued <br />Permit Applications Evaluations <br />As previously discussed, Schrantz indicated LRRWMO members <br />should review their respective city's permits and determine <br />which have been completed and should be refunded the <br />remainder of their permit fees. A written recommendation on <br />the refund should be sent to Rnutson. <br />Mineral Pond Sixth Addition <br />Schultz recommended this Mineral Pond Sixth Addition agenda <br />item be tabled in that nothing has been done on the project <br />yet. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Water Quality Records/Maintenance <br />Jankowski indicated he has not yet obtained LRRWMO .water <br />quality records/maintenance information from Barr <br />Engineering. <br />Other <br />The board noted the receipt of the February 16, 1993, infor- <br />mation received from Barr Engineering: Comments on proposed <br />wetland rules from Barr Engineering Environmental Scientist <br />Randall Duncan, an example of an agreement Barr Engineering <br />has with the Lower Mississippi- Watershed Management <br />Organization, and proposed water management plan rules as <br />established by BWSR. <br />Upon discussion of a proposed agreement with the- LRRWMO <br />Consulting Engineer, when one is chosen from those inter- <br />viewed February 11, 1993, the board discussed things the <br />agreement should contain. It was determined the board's goal <br />would be to finalize its decision on the future hiring of a <br />Consulting Engineer/firm by the March 1993 regular meeting. <br />However, with much to discuss and an agreement to put <br />together, a special meeting was set for March 4, 1993, at <br />2:00 p.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. <br />As for the matter of deciding on an LRRWMO legal consultant, <br />the board noted the February 3, 1993, letter from Curtis <br />Pearson expressing his interest in continuing to represent <br />the LRRWMO as its attorney. The letter indicated his rate <br />for representing WMOs is currently $115.00 per hour. <br />
