LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />JANUARY 21, 1993 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Jim Schrantz called the meeting to order at 8:30 <br />a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Members present were Jim Schrantz, Steve Jankowski, Bill <br />Ottensman (Coon Rapids alternate) (8:40 a.m.), and John <br />Weaver. <br />Also present were Ray Schultz, Anoka alternate, .and Jim <br />Knutson, Deputy Treasurer. <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br />Motion was made by Schrantz, seconded by Jankowski, to <br />APPROVE THE DECEMBER 17, 1992, MEETING MINUTES AS PRINTED. <br />3 ayes (Schrantz, Jankowski, Schultz) - 0 nayes. Motion <br />carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Knutson presented, and discussed, the Treasurer's Report for <br />the period December 1, 1992, through December 31, 1992. He <br />noted whereby a $100 insurance refund was received from the <br />LRRWMO's 1992 insurance premium from the League of Minnesota <br />Cities Insurance Trust. <br />Knutson reviewed the various LRRWMO accounts, indicating the <br />checking account balance as of December 31, 1992, was $10.00; <br />interest bearing savings account, $7,037.94, less the permit <br />account balance of $2,004.00, for a total interest bearing <br />savings account balance of $5,033.94; and a certificate of <br />deposit of $10,000, which Rnutson noted was due to mature on <br />January 23, 1993, and will be rolled over; leaving a total <br />current balance as of December 31, 1992, of $17,047,94. <br />The board and Knutson went on to discuss the Budget Report <br />for the period ending December 31, 1992. Knutson noted that <br />two line items will be over budget: professional services <br />as well as postage, copying, etc. There will be additional <br />charges against these line items before the end of the 1993 <br />fiscal year, January 31, 1993. <br />
