R f <br />LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />AUGUST 19, 1993 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Vice Chair Steve Jankowski called the meeting to order at <br />8:30 a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL Cp,LL <br />Voting members present were Steve Jankowski, Ramsey; Ben <br />Ferguson, Coon Rapids; Bruce Perry, Andover alternate;-and <br />John Weaver, Anoka. <br />Also present was Ray Schultz, Anoka Alternate; Todd Haas, <br />Andover city staff representative; and Jim Knutson, Deputy <br />Treasurer. <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br />Mikkonen had presented the board with a draft copy of the <br />extensive July 15, 1993, meeting minutes for content only, <br />recommending their consideration be tabled to the September <br />1993 regular meeting. The board concurred; consideration of <br />the July meeting minutes was tabled. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Knutson presented the Treasurer's Report for the period <br />ending July 31, 1993. Account balances for the period were: <br />Checking, $10.00; interest bearing savings account, <br />$8,945.10, less permit account balance of $5,365.83, for a <br />total available savings account balance of $3,579.27; and <br />certificates of deposit totaling $17,000.00; for a current <br />total balance of $25,955.10. <br />Knutson reported the City of Ramsey has paid its second half <br />1993 membership dues. Anoka's and Ramsey's dues, estimated <br />at $6,000.00, were not included in the budget report. <br />Motion was made by Perry, seconded by Weaver, to ACCEPT THE <br />TREASURER'S REPORT FOR THE PERIOD ENDING JULY 31, 1993. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />Also included in the budget report information was a copy of <br />the fiscal year 1994 budget as established at a previous <br />meeting. Said budget will total $22,200.00; $18,200 from <br />assessments to member cities and $4,000 from permit revenue. <br />
