t M <br />LRRWMO Meeting Minutes <br />August 19, 1993 <br />Page 2 <br />Also included in the report information was a detailed <br />summary of permit fee applications for the period ending <br />August 19, 1993. <br />Knutson provided the member city representatives with a copy <br />of the estimated 1994 assessments as financial planning <br />information for their City Finance Officers. He explained <br />that the market value changes at the end of the year, so <br />final figures will not be available until that time. <br />PAYMENT OF BILLS <br />Knutson presented a bill from Barr Engineering in the amount <br />of $377.00, of which $124 was designated as administrative <br />expenditures. The rest represented permit review costs. <br />Also presented was a bill from the City of Anoka for profes- <br />sional services, copying, postage, supplies, etc, for the <br />months of June and July 1993 in the amount of $416.48. It <br />was noted that not all the transcription hours charged for <br />the July meeting minutes were not included on this billing. <br />Said bill also included the $15 administrative fee for the <br />services of the City of Anoka Finance Director. <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to AUTHORIZE <br />PAYMENT OF THE TWO BILLS AS PRESENTED. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT (Cont.) <br />LRRWMO <br />Knutson reported that of the bids <br />agencies to fill the position of <br />Secretary, only one bid was received, <br />owner of Time Saver Off Site Se <br />Rapids. He briefly reviewed the <br />indicated he found the cost analysis <br />within the current expenditure rate. <br />sent out to secretarial <br />LRRWMO Administrative <br />that from Carla Wirth, <br />~retarial Service, Coon <br />proposal received and <br />of the proposal to be <br />Mikkonen reported that Anoka's Personnel Director and she <br />interviewed the secretarial firms which expressed an interest <br />in this organization and found all to be exceptional. She <br />stated Ms. Wirth's firm seems to be an outstanding candidate <br />for the position and would recommend hiring it. However, <br />Mikkonen informed the board Ms. Wirth had indicated she would <br />initially take over the position; but would most likely <br />eventually train another employee for the position. <br />
