Mikkonen
explained that when she began working at the Anoka Parks
Department she tried to retain her position for the LRRWMO.
Unfortunately, this past month proved to her the board's need
for someone who has more time to expend on LRRWMO activities,
which are increasing regularly. She did not foresee a
reduction in her current LRRWMO responsibilities and felt it
best if the board hired someone who could better fulfil its
Administrative Secretarial needs. As her letter indicates,
Mikkonen stated she would give the board two, no longer than
three, months notice in order that it might find a
replacement and allow her to bring that individual up to
speed as much as possible.
