Motion carried. by Ferguson, to ACCEPT Weaver asked that Knutson provide, by the proposed 1994 budget in line with what we Knutson stated after the July meeting with he would be better able to provide a propose August meeting. PAYMENT OF BILLS Knutson presented consideration: -- Barr Engineerin of this expense is and Anoka County. bill was $67.00. two bills for payment next meeting, a have in reserve. the Consultants, d budget for the for the board's g in the amount of $259.50. The majority charged back to two permits: Amber Ridge The administrative fee to be paid on this -- City of Anoka for April and May 1993 expenses incurred in the amount of $300.94 and $322.88, respectively. The majority of those are for secretarial services. Motion was made by Ferguson, seconded by Weaver, to AUTHORIZE PAYMENT OF TBE BILLS AS PRESENTED. 3 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. LETTER OF RESIGNATION (Addendum) Knutson noted the June 18, 1993, letter of resignation provided by Administrative Secretary Mava Mikkonen. Mikkonen explained that when she began working at the Anoka Parks Department she tried to retain her position for the LRRWMO. Unfortunately, this past month proved to her the board's need for someone who has more time to expend on LRRWMO activities, which are increasing regularly. She did not foresee a reduction in her current LRRWMO responsibilities and felt it best if the board hired someone who could better fulfil its Administrative Secretarial needs. As her letter indicates, Mikkonen stated she would give the board two, no longer than three, months notice in order that it might find a replacement and allow her to bring that individual up to speed as much as possible.
