LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION NOVEMBER 17, 1994 CALL TO ORDER Chairman Steve Jankowski called the meeting to order at 8:37 a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. ROLL CALL Members present were Steve Jankowski, Ramsey; Ben Ferguson, Coon Rapids; Todd Haas, Andover; and Ray Schultz, Anoka Alternate. Absent was John Weaver, Anoka. CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES Motion was made by Schultz, seconded by Ferguson, to approve the October 20, 1994, regular meeting minutes as submitted. Vote: 3 ayes, 0 nays, 1 present (Haas). Motion carried. TREASURER'S REPORT Knutson presented the Treasurer's Report for the period ending October 31, 1994. Account balances for the period were: Checking, $10.00; interest bearing savings account, $5,251.58, less permit account balance of $5,338.18, for a total available savings account balance of ($86.60); and certificates of deposit totaling $32,000.00; for a current total balance of $37,261.58. Knutson reviewed the LRRWMO Summary of Permit Fee Applications and indicated more has been spent for permit review than budgeted. It was noted that $4,000 was budgeted based on receiving eight to nine permit applications; however, 14 permits have been submitted. Knutson suggested that the budget will probably be revised in January to adjust that line item accordingly. Knutson reviewed account balances and noted they are on pace with three to four months left in the budget year. He pointed out that only one permit, the Anoka River Shoal, spent more than received ($2.32) and once engineering work is complete he will submit a request for payment of the balance and close the permit account. Jankowski noted Pearson has not submitted any legal bills this yeaz. Knutson reported he will contact Pearson in January and request he provide a bill. Motion was made by Ferguson, seconded by Schultz, to accept the Treasurer's Report for the period ending October 31, 1994. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried.
