<br />LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />MARCH 17, 1994 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Steve Jankowski called the meeting to order at 8:34 a.m. in the Committee Room <br />of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Voting members present were Steve Jankowski, Ramsey; Ben Ferguson, Coon Rapids; Todd <br />Haas, Andover; and John Weaver, Anoka. Absent: None. <br />Also present were-Ray Schultze Anoka Alternate; Jim Knutson, Deputy Treasurer; and Catla. <br />Wirth, Administrative Secretary. <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Haas, to approve the February 17, 1994, regular <br />meeting minutes, as presented. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Knutson commented that this was the first month of the new year so there has been very <br />little activity taking place. He presented the Treasurer's Report for the period ending <br />February 28, 1994. Account balances for the period were: Checking, $10.00; interest <br />bearing savings account, $3,042.87, less permit account balance of $5,545.86, for a total <br />available savings account balance of $367.98; and certificates of deposit totaling $22,OOO.DO; <br />for a current total balance of $27,187.88. <br />Knutson reviewed the three Certificates of Deposit, noting the percentage of return and due <br />date. He also reviewed the final 1993 Budget Report which was about $4,400 under budget <br />in expenses for the year. He stated the audit will be available next month and he anticipates <br />about a $19,500 carryover in .fund. balance. to 1994. <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to accept the Treasurer's Report for <br />the period ending February 28, 1994. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />PAYMENT OF BILLS <br />Knutson presented the following bills for February, 1994: Timesaver Off Site Secretarial in <br />the amount of $229.56 which he indicated was approximately the same dollar amount as <br />received every month. <br />
