v LRRWMO Meeting Minutes March 17, 1994 Page 2 Motion was made by Haas, seconded by Ferguson, to authorize payment $229.56 to 'timesaver Otl' Site Secretarial for the month of February, 1994. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. Knutson noted that Barr Engineering has not submitted-an invoice for February; however, there will be expenses since several permits were submitted during January. Employee Blanket Bond Knutson reported he has researched the cost for an employee blanket bond and found a $10,000 liability limit costs $108, and a $20,000 liability limit costs $143 available from T.C. Field & Company. He explained that the other insurance coverage approved in January does not cover a fidelity bond. He added that the LRRWMO has about $27,000 in cash which-could reach-a high of approximately-$30;000. Knutsonpointed out`that-there is $198 left in the budget insurance line item. Jankowski noted that the Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) indicates officers will be bonded. Weaver indicated his support and commented that it is a good financial management practice to provide this type of insurance coverage. Ferguson agreed and noted that the LRRWMO usually receives an insurance rebate. Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to authorize payment of $143 to T.C. Field & Company for $20,000 employee blanket bond coverage from March 17, 1994 through March 31, 1995, as required by the JPA. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. Permit S[atus Knutson reported he received two letters from Andover indicating two permit applicants (Langfeld and Westlund) have indicated they will not pursue permit approval, request all work he stopped on their permit application, and the remainder of the permit fee reimbursed to them. Haas .explained that_the Timber Meadows 2nd Addition.permit.application-fell under he Permanent Rules so the applicant decided to not proceed. -The Langfeld permit is under the interim miles but not cost effective to complete so the applicant has withdrawn the permit. Since an invoice had not been received From Barr Engineering for February, 1994, consensus was reached to delay action on LRRWMO Permit Application Nos. 93-04 and 93-15 until the April, 21, 1994. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried.
