v <br />LRRWMO Meeting Minutes <br />March 17, 1994 <br />Page 2 <br />Motion was made by Haas, seconded by Ferguson, to authorize payment $229.56 to <br />'timesaver Otl' Site Secretarial for the month of February, 1994. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Motion carried. <br />Knutson noted that Barr Engineering has not submitted-an invoice for February; however, <br />there will be expenses since several permits were submitted during January. <br />Employee Blanket Bond <br />Knutson reported he has researched the cost for an employee blanket bond and found a <br />$10,000 liability limit costs $108, and a $20,000 liability limit costs $143 available from T.C. <br />Field & Company. He explained that the other insurance coverage approved in January <br />does not cover a fidelity bond. He added that the LRRWMO has about $27,000 in cash <br />which-could reach-a high of approximately-$30;000. Knutsonpointed out`that-there is $198 <br />left in the budget insurance line item. <br />Jankowski noted that the Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) indicates officers will be bonded. <br />Weaver indicated his support and commented that it is a good financial management <br />practice to provide this type of insurance coverage. Ferguson agreed and noted that the <br />LRRWMO usually receives an insurance rebate. <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to authorize payment of $143 to T.C. <br />Field & Company for $20,000 employee blanket bond coverage from March 17, 1994 <br />through March 31, 1995, as required by the JPA. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />Permit S[atus <br />Knutson reported he received two letters from Andover indicating two permit applicants <br />(Langfeld and Westlund) have indicated they will not pursue permit approval, request all <br />work he stopped on their permit application, and the remainder of the permit fee <br />reimbursed to them. <br />Haas .explained that_the Timber Meadows 2nd Addition.permit.application-fell under he <br />Permanent Rules so the applicant decided to not proceed. -The Langfeld permit is under <br />the interim miles but not cost effective to complete so the applicant has withdrawn the <br />permit. <br />Since an invoice had not been received From Barr Engineering for February, 1994, <br />consensus was reached to delay action on LRRWMO Permit Application Nos. 93-04 and <br />93-15 until the April, 21, 1994. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />
