_~ <br />LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />JANUARY 20, 1994 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Steve Jankowski called the meeting to order at 8:40 a.m. in the Committee Room <br />of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Voting members present were Steve Jankowski, Ramsey; Ben Ferguson, Coon Rapids; Todd <br />Haas, Andover; and John Weaver, Anoka. Absent: None. <br />Also present were Ray Schultz, Anoka Alternate; Jim Knutson, Deputy Treasurer, and Carla <br />Wirth, Administrative Secretary. <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br />Motion was made by Ferguson, seconded by Haas, to approve the December 16, 1993, <br />regular meeting minutes rnrrecting the Resolution vote on Page 6 to reflect that Schultz <br />voted aye in Weaver's absence, and correcting the sixth paragraph on Page 7 to state: "Haas <br />commented that the applicant will have to apply for a LRRWMO permit if the industrial <br />operation is over five acres. Thev also need to comply with the WMO Plan." <br />Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Knutson presented the Treasurer's Report for the period ending December 31, 1993. <br />Account balances for the period were: Checking, $10.00; interest bearing savings account, <br />$6,330.22, less permit account balance of $2,948.18, for a total available savings account <br />balance of $2,895.98; and certificates of deposit totaling $22,000.00; for a current total <br />balance of $27,854.16. <br />Weaver noted the legal bill will affect these fund balances. <br />Knutson pointed out all permit accounts have a positive balance except for Indian Meadows <br />which is over drawn by $33.92, and has been turned over to Andover for collection. He <br />added Anoka County submitted another $500 into their account balance. <br />C <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to accept the Treasurers Report for <br />the period ending December 31, 1993. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />
