t ~ <br />LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />OCTOBER 19, 1995 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Steve Jankowski called the meeting to order at 8:35 a.m. in the Committee Room <br />of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Voting members present were Steve Jankowski, Ramsey; Bruce Perry, Andover Alternate; <br />Bill Ottensmann, Coon Rapids Alternate and Ray Schultz, Anoka Alternate. <br />Voting members absent were Todd Haas, Andover; and John Weaver, Anoka. <br />Also present was Jim Knutson, Deputy Treasurer; and Mark Lobermeier, SEH. <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br />Motion was made by Ottensmann, seconded by Perry, to approve the September 21, 1995, <br />regular meeting minutes, correcting the third paragraph of Page 3 to indicate: "Jankowski <br />questioned whether all final plats should be subject to WMO Review." Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Motion carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Knutson presented the Treasurer's Report for the period ending September 30, 1995. <br />Account balances for the period were: Checking, $56,124.75; less permit account balance <br />of ($8,216.57),for a total available balance of $47,908.18. <br />Knutson noted there is still about $20,000 left to be paid for the Plan revision. All member <br />cities have paid their dues for 1995. Knutson pointed out that 21 permits have been issued, <br />which is a record year. Because of this, permit revenue and engineering expenses are higher <br />than anticipated but the engineering costs are covered through permit revenue. <br />The LRRWMO briefly reviewed permits which have a negative balance. Jankowski stated <br />he has made several calls regarding the negative balance for Ramsey Commons (Permit #93- <br />1) and will contact them again. <br />Motion was made by Ottensmann, seconded by Schultz, to accept the Treasurer's Report <br />for the period ending September 30, 1995. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />
