v
LRRWMO Meeting Minutes
December 21, 1995
Page 2
PAYMENT OF BILLS
Knutson presented the payment of bills for Timesaver for $189.35, Ban Engineering for
$605.75 (6% administrative and 94% permits) and to SEH for $3,380.79.
Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to authorize payment to Timesaver
Off Site Secretarial for $189.35, Barr Engineering for $605.75, SEH for $3,380.79. Vote:
4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried.
Annual Audit
Knutson noted that in previous years, $500 has been paid to prepaze the audit but this yeaz,
that particular person has joined an auditing firm and their bid is now $750. Since $500 was
budgeted for the audit in 1995, a budget amendment will be needed to expend $750.
Knutson stated in the past, the LRRWMO has received an exceptional price and he believes
that $750 remains to be a reasonable rate for this service.
Direction was given to place a 1995 budget amendment on the January 18, 1996 agenda.
REVIEW PLAN UPDATE -SEH -PERMITTING & IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS
Mazk Lobermeier, SEH, distnbuted a draft news release regarding the activities of the
LRRWMO relative to the update of their Comprehensive Plan. It was noted that discussion
was held at the last meeting to publish this article in January of 1996.
Weaver stated he believes this article is excellent and questioned whether the date of the
hearing should be established so it can be included in the article. Lobermeier agreed this
would be helpful and suggested another hearing notice of the date be published, as well.
Schultz suggested the article be modified to indicated: "The new plan will continue to
address current issues ..." Consensus reached to make this revision and to also include the
public hearing date.
Lobermeier asked if they should follow through with publication. Jankowski suggested it be
included in the Anoka Union and also in the January issue of member City's newsletters.
He noted that, perhaps, the hearing should be held in the later part of February.
Ferguson explained that the Coon Rapids newsletter is published quarterly.
Lobermeier pointed out that the hearing could be held in Mazch, if that provides better
notification. Jankowski stated he felt this may be too far out and suggested a February date
be considered.
