f, <br />• LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />FEBRUARY 22,1996 <br />2nd Generation Watershed Plan <br />Public Input Meeting <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />U;c ~.di.,. ~c~.,,,.-. <br />Chaim~an Steve-Jankawsld-called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers <br />of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Voting members present were Todd Haas, Andover; Ben Ferguson, Coon Rapids; and John <br />Weaver, Anoka. <br />Voting members absent was Steve Jankowski, Ramsey. <br />• Also present was Mark Lobermeier, SEH. <br />INTRODUCTION -PROJECT MANAGER: MARK LOBERMEIER SEH <br />Vice Chair Weaver introduced himself as the LRRWMO representative from Anoka and <br />explained the meeting tonight is to review the second generation WMO Plan. He reviewed <br />the member cities as being Anoka, Andover, Ramsey and Coon Rapids with one member <br />representing each of those cities. <br />Todd Haas introduced himself as the LRRWMO Secretary and representative from Andover <br />and Ben Ferguson, LRRWMO Treasurer, indicated he represents the City of Coon Rapids. <br />Weaver explained the legislation which was enacted to require the formation of the <br />LRRWMO to consider water quality issues. He displayed a copy of the first Plan which is <br />quite small in size compared to the second generation Plan which is larger is size to address <br />changes in legislation. Weaver explained the meeting tonight is to review this second <br />generation Plan which will be presented by Mark Lobermeier, Project Manager of the WMO <br />for the Plan update. <br />Lobermeier advised the 30-day comment period has commenced with copies of the Plan <br />being available at local libraries. He explained the process of review which woutd be <br />followed tonight and began his presentation by displaying a graphic of the area comprised <br />within the LRRWMO and pointed out the cities and waterways included. <br />.. ,., . a. _n: <br />
