Lobermeier stated he believes it will be a <br />small group in attendance, some for information and some with the view that this may be an <br />infringement on their rights and more government. Jankowski noted this open house will be televised <br />which may generate more interest. <br />It was agreed that questions and issues raised will be noted and perhaps a follow up newspaper <br />article published. This aspect will be noted in the Plan Update in relation to public input. <br />Lobermeier advised the Plan is 95% complete with the Implementation Program in need of detailed <br />review and discussion to determine and include costs. He estimated completion of this process will <br />bring the process up to the submittal date. <br />Haas asked if the Plan document will be reviewed by member City Councils prior to adoption. <br />Lobermeier stated this is correct plus an official public hearing will be held, as required. <br />Review of Implementation Plan will continue at March 21,1996 meeting. <br />Broadcast and Tape Open House <br />It was noted that Teny O'Connell, Meredith Cable, has indicated he will broadcast the February 22, <br />1996 Open House and provide video tapes for later broadcast by member cities at no chazge. <br />Consensus was reached to accept the offer of Meredith Cable to broadcast the meeting and <br />provide video tapes. <br />Publish Meeting Aeendas <br />It was noted that the LRRWMO agendas can be published in the Anoka County Union and Coon <br />Rapids Herald, at no cost, if submitted by Monday of the preceding week prior to 5 p.m. Lobermeier <br />stated this is also part of the public education portion of the Plan. <br />Consensus was reached to direct the Administrative Secretary to submit a tentative agenda <br />for publication in both the Anoka County Union and Coon Rapids Herald, and also broadcast <br />on local community cable television channels. <br />CONSIDERATION OF COMMTJNICATIONS <br />Review Correspondence in Chair's Folder <br />n <br />U <br />n <br />LJ <br />Jankowski reviewed the correspondence and notices contained in the Chair's Folder and noted the • <br />Anoka County letter regazding follow up of their groundwater protection study which they intend to <br />function as a "living document" subject to updates and modifications. Jankowski provided a copy <br />of this document to Weaver since all others had received the copy sent to their city. <br /> <br />
