LRRWMO Meeting Minutes <br />June 28, 1996 <br />Page 2 <br />Ferguson commented on the benefit of being later in the submittal process since other WMO's who <br />have already submitted their plan did not qualify for this grant. <br />Informational; no action required. <br />PAYMENT OF BILLS <br />Jankowski presented the payment of bills for Timesaver for $285.70, Barr Engineering for $961.35 <br />($10.50 for administrative costs), SEH for $534.13 (April), $1,228.68 (Mazch) and $334.29 <br />(February). <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Haas, to authorize payment to Timesaver for <br />$285.70 and Barr Engineering for $961.35. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />• <br />Jankowski reviewed the SEH invoices for Plan related work. Weaver inquired regazding the amount <br />of the contract, total paid thus far, and remaining balance. Weaver asked if a decision has been made <br />to retain 10%. Haas stated his impression that the amount already paid out reached the 10% <br />retainage figure and the LRRWMO would withhold 10% of the contract amount until the Plan is • <br />actually approved. Weaver recommended the SEH invoices be held since more than 90% of the <br />contract amount has aheady been paid out. Haas concurred. <br />Jankowski stated if this is the case, then payment will be withheld until the Plan is approved and <br />suggested Knutson be asked to verify the amounts. <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Haas, to table payment of outstanding SEH <br />invoices until the July 11,1996 special meeting to allow time for Knutson (Deputy Treasurer) <br />to provide a recommendation. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />DISCUSS PLAN UPDATE WITH SEH <br />The LRRWMO reviewed the Plan Update, starting with Table 32, with Mazk Lobermeier, SEH, and <br />decided to revise Table 32 to start with the yeaz 1997 and extend through 2006. The following <br />conclusions were reached: <br />Conduct Local Annual Meetine: Jankowsl asked what the annual meeting would entail. Lobermeier <br />explained he tried to also estimate the cost for the time spent by members, engineer, etc. Jankowski <br />agreed that if the WMO engineer attends, the cost would exceed $50. Leave at $50. <br />Citizen Monitoring Proeram: Lobermeier noted page 93 and that the costs aze two parts; $2,500 to • <br />prepare a plan of what is to be monitored; and $150/year for implementation. Ferguson noted it is <br />also included under data collection Lobermeier agreed that one could be eliminated. Weaver noted <br />that LRRWMO lakes do not inflow into rivers, they aze inland lakes, and there are no abutting <br />significant agriculture uses.
