LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />JUNE 28, 1996 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Steve Jankowski called the meeting to order at 8:38 a.m. in the Council Chambers of the <br />Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Voting members present were Steve Jankowski, Ramsey; Todd Haas, Andover; Ben Ferguson, Coon <br />Rapids; and John Weaver, Anoka. <br />Voting members absent: None. <br />Also present was Ray Schultz, Anoka Alternate and Mark Lobermeier, SEH. <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br />• Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to approve the May 16, 1996, regular <br />meeting minutes, as submitted. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Haas, to approve the May 30, 1996, special meeting <br />minutes, as submitted. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to approve the June 13, 1996, special <br />meeting minutes, as submitted. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Due to the absence of Deputy Treasurer Knutson, Jankowski presented the Treasurer's Statement <br />of Cash Receipts and Disbursements and the Treasurer's Report for the period ending May 31, 1996. <br />Account balances for the period were: Checking, $47,031.46; less permit account balance of <br />($11,200.53), for a total available balance of $35,830.93. <br />Motion was made by Haas, seconded by Ferguson, to accept the Treasurer's Report for the <br />period ending May 31, 1996. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />Update on New Grant Funds <br />• Jankowski advised a matching grant has been received for $31,200 which covers one-half of the cost <br />to prepaze the Second Generation Plan including the review by Barr Engineering ($2,000). It would <br />also cover one-half of the additional SEH costs, if authorized by the LRRWMO. <br />
