. LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION JUNE 28, 1996 CALL TO ORDER Chairman Steve Jankowski called the meeting to order at 8:38 a.m. in the Council Chambers of the Anoka City Hall. ROLL CALL Voting members present were Steve Jankowski, Ramsey; Todd Haas, Andover; Ben Ferguson, Coon Rapids; and John Weaver, Anoka. Voting members absent: None. Also present was Ray Schultz, Anoka Alternate and Mark Lobermeier, SEH. CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES • Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to approve the May 16, 1996, regular meeting minutes, as submitted. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Haas, to approve the May 30, 1996, special meeting minutes, as submitted. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to approve the June 13, 1996, special meeting minutes, as submitted. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. TREASURER'S REPORT Due to the absence of Deputy Treasurer Knutson, Jankowski presented the Treasurer's Statement of Cash Receipts and Disbursements and the Treasurer's Report for the period ending May 31, 1996. Account balances for the period were: Checking, $47,031.46; less permit account balance of ($11,200.53), for a total available balance of $35,830.93. Motion was made by Haas, seconded by Ferguson, to accept the Treasurer's Report for the period ending May 31, 1996. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. Update on New Grant Funds • Jankowski advised a matching grant has been received for $31,200 which covers one-half of the cost to prepaze the Second Generation Plan including the review by Barr Engineering ($2,000). It would also cover one-half of the additional SEH costs, if authorized by the LRRWMO.
