. 4 <br />LRRWMO Meeting Minutes • <br />May 30, 1996 <br />Page 4 <br />Haas stated it was his understanding this Second Generation Plan update would be good for ten years <br />but Table 19, Item 5, Page 97, indicates Third Generation WMO Plan. <br />Schultz expressed concern with establishing target loadings and asked if grants will be considered if <br />the identified tazget loads aze not accomplished. He also questioned how they would be established. <br />Consensus was reached to delay Target Dates by one year and to make the following revisions: <br />Annual Budget Process for Public Involvement No Change <br />Meeting Agenda Publication in Newspaper Tabled <br />(Tabled to obtain actual dollar figure to publish full agenda rather than just meeting <br />notification.) <br />Conduct Annual Open Meeting $ ~0 <br />(Will be held but incorporated into regular meeting schedule.) <br />Citizen Monitoring Program Tabled . <br />(Not required. Agenda's will be published and open meetings are held monthly <br />but tabled to request further detail from SEH.) <br />Education/Information Articles 0 <br />(Leave in but use City newsletter and press release at no cost.) <br />Promotional Pamphlet $200 <br />(Not required and funds to be used to obtain existing pamphlets from other <br />governmental agencies.) <br />Citizen Advisory Council .Tabled <br />(Citizen involvement usually comes through the cities and city council rather <br />than WMO. Also, in recognition of low citizen attendance at recently held Open <br />House Informational meeting. However, tabled to request further detail from <br />SEH.) <br />Data Collection Programs <br />Investigate Monitoring Grants $250/year <br />(Cost for Aaplication of Monitoring Grants -not Investigate grants) <br />Lake Level Monitoring No Change • <br />Lake Level Quality Monitoring $1,700 <br />(Indicate Lake and River Level Quality Monitoring and Ferguson to provide <br />information regarding PCA's monitoring program and costs involved.) <br />
